Loved it! You can bring your own alcohol and even have the Mariachi come on the boat and play some songs.

I had a bad experience. We got ripped off by the locals. The ride should cost about 300 pesos per person. I paid 2,000 pesos. The reason I gave it two stars is because the place is magical but be aware of the shady sales people.

Second place to go in Mexico city! Hachimilco tour is great! Make a group 12-18 people so you can pay less. Renting a boat is 400-500 pesos. Mariachis are nice 150 pesos per song. Order a beer in the beginning of your trip and enjoy!

It’s the Mexican Venice experience haha. My wife’s family took us for the journey. It’s a bit expensive for a little boat ride, but it’s a lot of fun. There are little boats with people selling food, playing music, and selling souvenirs. And the boats will stop at restaurants and they’ll bring you menus. The dolls are a little creepy. We had a great time!

We went on a Friday, luckily we found a group of people to join so that we were not on a huge boat by ourselves. The boat vendors are limited to flower crown vendors, beer vendors, blanket vendors, and food vendors. If you go bring snacks or a meal and drinks if you do not want to purchase from the Vendors. We did a 3 hour ride and it could have easily been paired down to 2 hours. The earlier you go the less boat traffic you will encounter.

Fun and entertaining! The little floating vendors and mariachi bands made it all the better!

Very unique place. The channels of the native people is now a place to get beer, food, ice cream, mariachis, and more. Nice relaxing time. It can get very crowded in some places. Keep your hands in at all times. Barges rub on each other, and minor crashes are the norm.

Nice experience, but I think we were overcharged for the boat ride. Also didn't like all the venders on boats and on land trying to sell you things. Didn't not like the food that was served from small boats serving food.
