The owners have twice been shut down, once punching an official, just trying to do his job, in the face. They ar horrible people who have paid off people to get away with disrespecting locals. Please don't patronize this place! Being well connected and having all your friends inflate your reviews at the expense of hard working locals isn't ok and should not be rewarded.

I've been to the best music venues in Detroit and Ann Arbor , Mi ,USA . Detroit and Ann Arbor is desperately in need of a nightclub like El Tupinambas right now . The music is eclectic. Music is great . The food and service is great too ! And the staff and owners are the best . I lived in SMA for 6 months 2 years ago and hopefully I'll return sometime next year . Oh! There''s a lot of good food there ! i really miss the Ribeye Sandwich, served with mixed salad and potato salad Delicious ! Staff and owners are extremely hospitable too ! El Tupinambas is what restaurants and nightclubs in the USA should emulate !

My husband and I were in San Miguel de Allende for 8 days last week. The first night, we happened to find this place based on acquaintances' recommendation and we were blown away by how fantastic the music was. There was a 6-piece gypsy jazz band playing. The place was wall-to-wall with dancers across generations, all having the time of their lives—including my husband and me. The staff was attentive, friendly, and so very welcoming. We wound up hanging out here five or six more nights while we were in town, each evening special in its own way. This place was one of the biggest highlights of our trip, and we cannot wait to return!

Wonderful place with outdoor seating and amazing service! Great food and a great place to go for live music! If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Live music was amazing. The tapas were pretty good. If you want a drink helps to go straight to the bar, the waiters were hard to get hold of, and then took only half the table's order. Overall a good experience though! Cozy atmosphere.

First time. The staff was SO fun and professional. The 4 piece band was unbelievable. People got up and just danced around to the greatest jamming music of the 60's, 70's. The food was better than any restaurant so far. Italian/Mexican flare. Will be back with friends!!!

I stopped in not for the food but for the music. Los Roadrunners were playing jazz, blues and rock and were fantastic. Any restaurant that supports good live music deserves my support. Will have to stop back and tell you about the food some time. There are a number of restaurants in the building, some configured as restaurants, like this one, others in a kind of food court.

Staff is so nice and really fun. The food is ok and a number of Spanish dishes are served with French fries, so not super authentic. There were all Americans when we went so it might be a big expat hangout if that's what your looking for.
