I don't know what I ate, some kind of breakfast combo. The gf said it was good but only 60% authentic to Venezuela, she's from there. Mine was really good with the 4 sauces. Hers was cachapa. They gave complimentary mimosas. Would definitely eat here again.

Wonderful experience at this new restaurant. We were heading to a different restaurant and heard the Saxophone player on a Sunday. Decided to stop by and try it. The food was phenomenal. Presentation was 1st class and everything was pleasing to the eye and taste. It didn’t hurt to have free Mimosas. Service was excellent and we didn’t have to ask for anything. They knew what we needed and brought it to us.

I spent alot of time in the past in Venezuela and loved the food my wife is from there as well. We seen this place and my wife started talking with them kinda felt like I was back there they were very nice and seemed to go above and beyond the norm to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The food was top notch as well as the people who worked there.if you want to eat good and spend a little compared to the others in that area I highly recommend it. 5 plus for me and my family

It was my first experience with Venezuelan food and I was quite impressed! The food was full of flavors, and quite difference than the flavors in Mexican food. The portions were very large as well. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for something different from the local offerings.

I discover this place just a few days ago and the food is great!!! at the beginning I didn’t know what to order and they recommend me to try the arepa sampler and a good cold Polar Venezuelan beer and was the perfect choice! lots of flavor, well served and that crunch of the arepa Yummy! the salsas are good too!!! affordable and the service is one of the best l ever had in Playa del Carmen. Next time l will to try some of their cocktails! 100% recommended.

They just opened yesterday on New Years Day so today we decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is well built and they have a nice terrace. The staff are very helpful and well trained. We both had different Venezuelan sandwiches and they were delicious. Both were made with shredded beef and the bread is made of corn at the restaurant itself. We finished with espressos and they were really good. So I also found a place for my daily dose. We plan on returning since they also serve breakfast. Since this is El Punto's first review I wish them the best of luck. Cheers
