Nice, clean hotel at an excellent location. Among the other options in town this hotel has it all. Highly recommended.

Very cute and clean boutique hotel right on the boardwalk. On beach and close to resturantes and bars scuba diving and fishing. Great little town.

Nice place. Not too expensive and close to the beach. Less than 20 steps and you are on the sand

Nice beach club in Mahahual. Great selection of food! Try homemade shrimp Fettuccine or Ceviche mixto. Beautiful beach and sunsets!

Looking at all the reviews I’m not sure what happened to us, but we had a terrible experience. We had a family suite which is supposed to have a kitchen in it. We really needed that because we were fleeing the hurricane that just passed through Cancun and brought our food in a cooler. The fridge wasn’t working, wouldn’t close so it stayed warm inside, so our food went bad. The floors were dirty. There was supposed to be a microwave but there wasn’t and the gas on the stove wouldn’t work. So we went downstairs and asked if they could heat up our food. The guy said there was a microwave in our room and when we said there wasn’t, he looked a little exasperated and said he’d show us where it was. So we all went to the room and when he saw there obviously wasn’t a microwave he said “oh. Well I’ll get the stove working then” completely acknowledging that we have an incomplete/inadequate room, but choosing to ignore it. At this point we were exhausted from driving 3.5 hours on a whim to flee a hurricane and didn’t bother to complain. The next day, we realized the internet was extremely spotty and made it difficult for my boyfriend to work. On top of that disturbingly loud construction right next to our room. So we finally complained. They offered us a continental breakfast, which was kind of insulting considering it’s just toast and coffee. In the end they gave us 300 pesos back but in the long run still paid 55 which was way too much for the what we got. We stayed at Jaiba hotel a mile down the road after that for a little bit cheaper than that and all the amenities were so much nicer. Maybe this was a fluke and the owner/manager did seem concerned in the end but we would never go back.
