Great place for a hike! There are defined areas to walk on paths but you can also easily explore following some less explored paths. Just walking around and exploring we did 4 miles and could’ve easily done more. Kids loved running around and the caves are very impressive!

Beautiful place, perfect for enjoy nature and have a nice time with family or friends. You could find a couple of places to eat, to drink or just sit down an enjoy the view. Also there is a zip line that you can do for 100 pesos. Only be aware that public transportation is not always available and you can save a lot of money if you take a \combi\ (10 pesos) instead of a taxi (around 100 pesos). It's around 20 minutes away from San Cristóbal downtown.

Best deal in town! 25 MXN will get you access to an incredible rock arch with a river running through it, as well as caves, replete with unusual formations, that slither through the cliffs above the arch.

Not the most friendly route during the last 2 km but definitely nothing that a sedan can't do and is worth a visit. Enter is 10 pesos, enter to the cave - additional 15 pesos. The park is well maintained. They permit the entrance of dogs to the park AND to the cave (at Rancho Nuevo dogs cannot enter the cave, also there are less ppl than in Rancho Nuevo and no sad horses to ride on, so that is probably a better option for misanthropic dog owners). The cave is pretty neat and there are different easy hiking routes you can check out.

Beautiful place just outside San Cristobal, you can grab a collectivo here for 10 pesos each way and it's only 10 pesos entry. Great way to spend an afternoon!
