Because I had a hard time booking an appointment (I was left on read with no confirmation until the day of the appointment, to which Daniel arrived late) it seemed that I wasn't a priority. Before my appointment finished, Daniel had run himself a footbath and was sitting down relaxing. This behaviour would be fine if we were familiar with eachother, but it just made me feel like my business was an inconvenience and I should get out. Overall the result was nice, not exactly what I wanted, but my standard is higher than the standard of professionalism I encountered. The assistants were yanking at my matted hair with the brush... I kept wanting to do it myself because they were tearing my delicate hairs. I don't think they know how to do curly hair very well. I think this spot is probably best for locals. If you are not from Oaxaca or a personal friend to Daniel, I would wait until you are in a bigger city to do your hair.
