This is a nice cruise port. I went here when my cruise stopped at Cozumel and was satisfied with my experience. My ship docked at the pier, and I disembarked from my ship. I walked along the pier to the port, which wasn’t to long. The pier was of average length and could fit two ships. At the port, there was a security dog checkin everyone’s bags. I had to wait in line for a bit to get through, which was disappointing. Once I got through, I walked off the pier, satisfied with my experience. I gave this cruise port five stars because it’s conveniently located right by a shopping mall and a small beach with a restaurant.

Efficient -- if a bit relaxed -- security, with no delays. Expect a sniffing dog as you exit your ship. Pedicabs work for tips on the pier, along with musicians and other performers. An elevated walkway allows you to cross the busy water-front street safely into the adjacent shopping area. The downtown terminal is less busy than the other nearby terminal.
Great visit. Great shops. 'I ️ Mexico', was a very interesting shop. Unique decorative craft items. Friendly shopkeeper.
A clevelandcruisin review: Probably one of my top 3 ports. I've been to 25 ports. Plenty of shopping, bars and very safe to walk around. My excursion recommendation is passion isle or island. It's an all inclusive beach day. Check it out, you won't be disappointed! If you go to the second level of the shopping mall, across from diamonds international is a shop that sells everything for very cheap. If decorative skulls is your thing like myself. On the lower level towards the middle on the tacos y tequila side, I found a shop that offered me 2 large skulls for 25. Not a bad deal. See my photo.
Nice place, stay in the local shops for cheap drinks and food. As soon as you let the excursion guys take you away you will automatically be taken to places that will overcharge you.
