This place is less of a zoo and more of a sanctuary/rescue. Clearly a very well run establishment and Jesus was an excellent tour guide. The animals are expertly cared for and seem happy. The little café also had great food. Highly recommend this experience.

Small place but it was nice to know they rescue the animals and they are all well cared for. Also the tour guide is very informative and tells you all about each type of reptile and animal.

A very, very pleasant surprise. We have been meaning to come here for the last nine months, so an overcast cool day was the perfect opportunity. The place is amazingly well taken care of, very professional with a good presentation, and guides that spoke terrific English and helped us understand we were seeing. We saw all the crocodiles we would ever want, got to hold one along with a few snakes, plus birds, and even a few monkeys. I give high praise to this terrific tourist attraction, not tourist trap, which has been here for three decades. Take the time to visit, it's pretty affordable and you only need a few hours. Another nice bonus: you can get breakfast and lunch there, plus coffee and some of the most amazing chocolate cake we've had here.

Had an awesome time here and really enjoyed the interactiveness. Wether it being patting hairless dogs, feeding cheeky endangered parrots or snuggling with a boa, we loved it all. The grounds are well laid out, it's an easy walk with a knowledgeable guide and I loved that all the rescued animals have very clean, well maintained areas to live. Rare monitors, light cream rattlesnakes that match the Yucatan's limestone and vibrant green vine snakes were just a few exotic beauties. And the local wild spider monkeys came down to say hello bringing their beautiful babies for a visit, the sweetest little things full of wide eyed curiosity and playfulness. It's great for friends, family or as a solo and well worth the visit to walk among crocodiles and even hold one if you wish.

Tour guide was great at explaining different things about the animals, it was a great experience holding animals and seeing them up close. Would definitely recommend.
