First time here and we love this port. They have a dolphin excursion right here and it's great for family and friends to watch you and even take your own photos. The food is expensive at the restaurants but love that they have a huge pool you can swim in with a volleyball court too very inviting and welcoming. Plenty of clean restrooms as well. You can sit and enjoy watching the waves or enjoy shopping all the different shops. We didn't really shop much but heard a couple people say it's a little pricey. They have your traditional stores of Diamonds International, the Bamboo store, DelSol and so much more. This port is definitely worth getting off to walk around and enjoy.

Costa Maya Mexico is a small port with a long dock. It's very beautiful the local people are great and are very nice. They have some with very nice shops and places to eat. You can also have your hair braided with beads there. They also have a awesome Aviary and a spot to interact with Dolphins to. To top it off some of the locals dressed in beautiful bird outfits put on a great aerial show on a 100 foot pole. AMAZING!! Awesome place for photo and video..

Costa Maya Port is surrounded by the vast natural beauty of the Mexican Caribbean and the Mayan jungle is a clear draw. But, what makes Costa Maya, Mexico truly unique, is that it is an authentic mexican port, offering a wide range of unforgettable opportunities for adventure, culture and relaxation just steps away from the dock.

What else can u NEVER forget to get while in Mexico??? Tacos of course! Got some good tacos here. I usually can't explore much of town, but this time I got some good food in the actual port. The port of Costa Maya, (as usual on this high tourist ports) has lists of shopping, some restaurants, plus fun stuff like dolphin swimming right in port. They've got lots of birds, like flamingos, toucans, parrots... They've got a nice swimming pool as beach area. It's fun!

This was our last stop on our 7-day Carnival cruise out of Port Canaveral. Costa Maya's port is always bustling with street vendors, tour operators, stunt performers and great entertainment. This has to be one of the most convenient ports we've ever visited. You really do not need to leave the area to have an incredible time. Pool and beach facilities are free of charge. You can shop for souvenirs, liquor, rum cakes or hang out at the swim up pool bar or go swimming with dolphins, see the birds and the flamingos at the aviary, watch the Mayan and pirates live performances or relax at a beachside cabana. Everything is steps away from the ship, no transportation necessary :)!

Amazing place! Good opportunity to take a tour if you are doing cruise travel. Take a tour to explore the Chacchoben ruins because there are many culture and interest historical facts and the ruins are cool place. It's a family program!

If you haven't been here in a few years, you need to go back! They've updated the whole place. It's like a Mexican disney land minus the rides and the mouse. Well maybe a just few rats lol j/k. The place looks beautiful so many things to do you won't want to leave.

Definitely one of the more pricey spots to eat, drink, and shop when visiting Mexico, but definitely a gorgeous port. I suggest when visiting vendors that you definitely go in lower than what you want to pay for something and stick to your numbers hard (with some leeway), as the vendors are more than willing to haggle for a sale. Food and drink (including alcohol) is definitely on the pricier side, and there is no haggling when it comes to that, but the food is great, and the drinks usually have heavy pours of alcohol. Definitely a great place to visit for the casual tourist, and they do stamp your passport, for you if you are coming off a cruise!
