First, you must give your name, email and phone number to Ikea before you are allowed to enter the store. Just personally, I don't like giving my personal information to businesses because I understand the value of personal information to a company. I want to be the consumer, not the product. After entering, I headed to home furnishings because I was there to purchase bookshelves. I quickly learned that nothing in home furnishings is available, one of the staff told me nothing was available after I asked about several different shelves. So, don't go if you are looking for furnishings, nothing is available. The second floor is housewares, it's OK, similar to the quality of Target (a step above Wal-Mart). I did buy a small rug, a pan, and cutting board. Price was good and I did travel a long way to visit the store (not the best location). Checking out, although there were 100 staff members outside making sure you gave your personal information before entering, at checkout only half the registers were open and I waited 30 minutes in line. I hope all of this is because they are new, not prepared for the crowds that arrived, and new staff still learning. But at this point, I would wait a year before trying again. I also hope they do better with their website, it's not user friendly, and in a pandemic, the ability to shop online is critical to businesses.

Friendly and helpful staff, pandemic procedures with appointments for visiting work great and without hassle, well worth the trip

The place is gigantic. 3 floors completely filled with lots of stuff to see (and buy obiously). You go following a path through all the different themed rooms that goes from living rooms, storage rooms, gardening, kids rooms, office, kitchens and so on. I ended up buying some pots ands bed sheets, even after i told everyone i was just going to go out of couriosity. Went there just 1 week after the inaguration at the time of the review, so it can be expected to have.many more things as the months come by.
