If you love cacao(like me), this is the only place you really need to visit in Chiapas. The owner of the ranch is an archeologist with years of experience and knowledge of cacao and ancient Olmec and Mayan culture. He has a wealth of knowledge and it’s fascinating to hear him talk about the TRUE origins of cacao. The chocolate making workshop was also amazing and he has so much to say about this as well! Cacao trees are in abundance throughout the ranch and you can visit the plantation whenever you like. A beautiful lake surrounds the ranch and you can walk down to the dock to see it closer. Everyone at the ranch is so nice and accommodating, they even made special vegan meals for my partner and I the few days we were there. In addition to all this, the ranch is a beautiful relaxing getaway in the rainforest. Off grid and no frills, you’ll wake up to the sounds of toucans and maybe rain in the morning. An ideal getaway for anyone looking to unplug and reconnect to themselves and maybe cacao too! I already can’t wait to go back

Fattoria circondata da piante multiformi e fiori meravigliosi di tutti i tipi. Particolare interesse per le piante di cacao. Vasca per l'itticoltura piena di pesci. Pittoresca la casetta immersa nella foresta con servizi igienici e sala pranzo. Un simpatico agricoltore spiega la lavorazione del cacao, molto interessante.
