We rented a beach front property from them. They would take hours to respond and we did not have running water the entire trip. Except for maybe a few hours on the second day. We stayed three days with basically no water. We had children with us and it was a horrible experience.. I will never use this company again.

No Water! Renting a house on the beach in Cholla Cove called Casa Medusa. We arrived late after work and waited over an hour to get the keys from the after hours check in at the resort. House took another 30 min to find in the dark as it's not marked. We booked weeks ahead of time and arrived to no water service and no water in the cistern. After calling and texting Pedro numerous time we only received a call back when we filed a complaint with Airbnb. We're still here and still no water to cook and clean. No water to flush toilets.

We stayed at the Sonoran Spa, left the place cleaner than when we arrived, left a big tip all the towels, left on time and they kept our 200 deposit plus charged us 95 extra for an alleged ding in the bathroom door. Even the US booking agent agreed it was an old ding. Never going back. We stayed in unit 401E three bedroom. The sliding door had been obviously repaired multiple times. The wind howled through the place. Someone named Carmen on the answering machine didn’t call us back to tell us what the charges were about. Bad service.

Booked Bella Sirena for a trip with friends. Loved the place except one thing--the refrigerator didn't work. We called and asked for maintenance to come and they lied multiple times saying a technician was on their way and repeatedly said "15 minutes". It has been hours and still nobody and our food has gone bad. The property is great but Castaways service leaves much to be desired and for that reason I would recommend booking through someone else.

This place gets one only because the La Esmeralda was AMAZING! Loved the place! It was super easy to check in and out. It was very clean with a beautiful view! Truly the only good part about using Castaways(that being said, Pete and Hector were the only ones to be of any help.) However, upon arrival there was an issue with my deposit. I forgot I cancelled my card that was on file, and left my new card at home! I gladly gathered 300 cash for the deposit. No problem! I was promised it would be deposited back into my account within 30 days of checkout. I GAVE THESE PEOPLE MY BANK INFORMATION LIKE AN IDIOT BECAUSE I HAD TO. This was on August 24, 2018. The first week into October I started calling wondering where my deposit was. I either got no answer, or I got the “I’ll call you back with more info”, “let me email my manager and they will get back to you”, “the manager isn’t here I will have them call you.” Only to NEVER receive a call back or an email when one was expected! I had to literally call everyday!! They finally told me that my deposit was sent via check.... TO AN ADDRESS I NO LONGER LIVED AT!!! They never called to tell me that the refund method changed, or to confirm anything! This wasn’t brought to my attention until the end of October. They EVENTUALLY sent out another check to my correct address. Still calling everyday, nobody seemed to know anything. Well FINALLY, I called and spoke to someone who told me that my check would be delivered on ________ day(a dated promise I had heard 4-5 other times). This time, they were correct. My check was delivered today(November 30th) in all of it glor..... wait.... WHAT THE HELL!!! MY CHECK WAS ONLY WRITTEN FOR 200 WHEN MY DEPOSIT WAS 300 AND I HAVE PICTURES PROVING THAT THE FIRST CHECK SENT WAS WRITTEN FOR 300!!!!! This company is terrible! Now I will have to continue calling for my other 100! My advice to you is: DO NOT ISE CASTAWAYS ROCKYPOINT! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!
