Casa Mission may not be the best restaurant in San Miguel Cozumel, but it is is a destination by itself and the food is good. Great for taking pictures, too! We went for breakfast and experienced friendly service and tasty meals for a reasonable price — given the setting and this being a tourist attraction. There are lots of smaller, more authentic eateries nearby if you feel like venturing out. Covid-19 protocols are in place, too.

Very Mexican vibe! Loved it! For a traditional older restaurant, they really maintain the establishment and the quality of food & service well. Ask for a local menu too, they have different specialty dishes each day. Live Mariachi at dinner time. Free tequila tour is available on-site, this family made organic tequila.
We enjoyed our meal here and the ambiance is great! Very beautiful place with a nice breeze, very pretty grounds, nice staff. But it seems they have different menus... we had seen photos on other Google reviews of the plastic laminated desayunos (breakfast) and comida (lunch) menus with reasonable prices and good options for what we were looking for. However when we got there they only offered us the fancy leather bound menus, probably because we look like tourists (which we are, but we like to eat at local spots and look for good deals). At the time we didn’t protest and ended up ordering delicious food but each entree was about 15-17 USD. Then later after our food arrived we saw some other people who looked more like locals were given the other menu with different options and much cheaper prices. I would still return here because the food was good, the service was good, and the atmosphere was lovely. But next time I would ask for the other menu.
This restaurant is a precious gem . You have to go there and experience it to understand why I said that. It’s a beautiful place. It’s the home of the owners. you feel like your dining as their guests. The food is exceptionally good. Service is outstanding. Everyone we encountered was courteous, professional and willing to help in anyway they could. This is a place that we will return to.We clearly didn’t experience every restaurant in Cozumel but of the ones we did this was by far the best. I would recommend this to anyone
One of the few disappointing stops on our month in Mexico. The venue is indeed lovely, the courtyard is beautiful and the restaurant is well-decorated. That said, the staff was less than inviting, slow to serve and generally aloof whereas most other places we went it was a warm and welcoming vibe. The food was not bad, just quite mediocre. Certainly overpriced for what you got on the plate. The fish main was pretty overcooked, almost mushy, and the grilled lobster was... well it just tasted weird and nowhere near as delicious as a lobster should. Maybe we were the rare exception given this place is well-reviewed, but I can't agree. We were excited to eat here, and by the end we were totally let down.
