Mexican and Cuban fusion. Husband is from Mexico and wife is from Cuba. Food is a mix of wonderful flavors from both countries and it is very consistent. This review is from their former location next to what used to be the Holiday Inn Resort. They have relocated across the road but the food remains the same, fabulous. The black bean soup is a must try!

This has been our favorite restaurant in Mazatlan so far. Fun atmosphere, Carlos is great, great food and the best drinks. We heard that the mojitos we're good so we ordered one for my wife. I got the house margarita. Both drinks were great but the mojito was amazing. Carlos came out with his pestle and showed us how he grinds the mint. It was a fun experience. When he brought the final drink it was quite amazing. I talked about only the drinks but the food was very good as well. We both got taco plates and there are several dishes that we'll come back to try. We'll definitely come back.

Fantastic evening. Carlos was very warm and welcoming, he prepared us the freshest mojitos I've ever had and they were great.i had the pulled pork & It was delicious with the rice and plantains. Maybe my best meal in Mazatlan yet & it was Cuban

This is a family owned restaurant. Carlos is Mexican and Lucia is Cuban, so there is a good menu choice. The food was amazing and delicious. Probably one of the best restaurants in Mazatlan. Carlos was very friendly and if we were there longer we would go back again.

Went back after being in love with the place 13(or so) years ago, but noticed that things were a little too salty for our liking now. Still good, just needs less salt- maybe you can request it... Could be our tastes now, who knows(the reason for the 4 stars not 5). Had a mojito and it was FANTASTIC. It was very well crafted.

Great mojitos! Food was excellent, highly recommended. Very nice atmosphere, Carlos is such a nice man! We did not get to meet his wife, but am sure she is just as nice.

We had the best experience here. Carlos was the best host imaginable and was so accommodating to our needs and more. He was happy to share with us all his Mazatlan secrets and we ended the night sharing photos of our families. I could not recomend this restaurant more. The food, the service, and the smiles were so much more than we expected walking in.
