We've rented cars here a few times while visiting Quintana Roo. Never had a bad experience. They pick you up from the airport, bring you to their office a few blocks away. They are quick, and easy to communicate with. Prices are very fair. The cars are clean and in good condition. When you are done, return the car and they give you a ride back to the air port. It's really a great system, super smooth. Will definitely return. Thanks!

They do have a hidden fee if you drop off the car at a different location. I made a reservation on their website. Then I wanted to change the return date of the car by a day earlier and called them on the day I was flying into Cancun. The new cost jumped up by more than 100 over the original price. They said it was because the drop off was in a different city than pick up. That's understandable but the reservation confirmation details made it seem like I got the final price when it was not and I would not have known until I got to the car rental agency. At the very least they can make a simple update on their website and reservation confirmation email to make it crystal clear that there would be additional fees for dropping off at a different location. They do say it on the website currently that drop off at a different location COULD cause for an additional fee but since you type in your pick up and drop off locations, I would think most people would assume that you're getting your final price. I ended up talking to a couple rental agencies at the airport upon landing and Carflex gave me a significantly better price and saved my butt.

Couldn't be happier with this rental experience! The car was clean, safe, and exactly in the condition they promised. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us back a week later after return. The most important part for me is they charge exactly what they quote you at time of reservation. Unlike other rental companies there are no additional fees added when you arrive or surprises on your card when you get home. This is a honest company that I will definitely use again when I visit later this year.

Ok so I am from New Jersey USA. Me and a friend decided to take a trip to Mexico, drive to Valladolid, Tulum etc. WHEN I TELL YOU THIS PLACE WAS IN AND OUT. Please use this local car rental company. They did not give me any problems at all. There was a guy waiting for us in Friends and Family outside CUN airport, he took us to ATM to get money (our request) and then took us to the van that was waiting for us. Car rental place is like a mile or two from airport, super close. Got there and got our car within 5 min no joke. Ended up paying 156 for a 4 day car rental including tax with rental full insurance included plus a extra driver... So worth it. Please use the company and not Budget or Avis, etc. HOWEVER, our car tire did have low air pressure after three days of driving, we had to get air put in the tires, no biggie but it did cause us some stress as we had a lot of driving to do. They put 300 hold on my car that was returned immediately after returning car. Actually as a matter a fact I never even saw the hold on my credit card statement.
