Pedro and Sushi Time Fishing. Did best job putting me on marlin and mahe mahe. They know ropes and recommend them for the money.

Juan did it again for us. He took care of everything for the boat, license, lunch and drinks and bait. He has very good prices and very good boats. Once you are the boat Armando or another captain will take over. They know the waters and what to catch and where. I been three times with Sushi Time. And ever time I catch fishing. I have caught Sailfish and Doroto and even tuna quite close to the Arch. I have seen whales and porpoises quite close. And got great pictures by the Arch on the way home.

Good captain. Fish were not cooperative though we had opportunities. Caught 1 Mahi-mahi, lost one, Lost a wahoo. Had 1 striped marlin chase. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the boat. “ not the greatest” and fishing equipment. I have 30 plus years of fishing on the Great Lakes And I can tell you we probably would have landed both fish we lost had the hooks been sharp on the bait set ups. And the lines on both reels was at least 10 years old. Though penn reels are good reels. Both reels on my set up and my wife’s were broken but good enough to not brake pulling a luge I run pen. Reels on all of my downrigger rods.. I only speak of what I know. Pedro was great. It was a beautiful trip. Just need some new rods and reels and a better boat. Not bigger. Just one that doesn’t have cracks in the transom. Made me a little skeptical but it worked out.

My first time in Cabo I knew I wanted to go fishing. I'm not sure how my wife found Sushi Time, but I'm glad she did. Showing up to the marina, it was a bit overwhelming seeing all of the beautiful boats and yachts, then humbling to hop into a little panga, but I wouldn't have it any other way. The captains know how to fish this area without all of the bells and whistles. I went out 2 times during my stay, first with Captain Gerardo then a few days later with Captain Jorge. Both were very knowledgeable and skilled fisherman that did their very best to fill our boat with fish. In 2 days of fishing, I caught 5 different species of fish (Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Pompano, Tuna, Taxi). Those fancy boats I wrote about earlier, I never saw one land a single fish, and it seemed like 1 or 2 were shadowing us all day as we landed fish after fish. Out of all of the experiences I've had so far in the 6 nights I've been here, fishing with Sushi Time has been the highlight of my vacation. I will be coming back soon, and without a doubt, I will be booking at least 2 or 3 days of fishing with them. Thank you Juan and crew for such a great time!

Uncooperative fish, Great Captain Fished with Capitan Johnny, great guy and did what he could do to get my daughter(13)on fish, but sometimes fish don't cooperate. We have a boat in Alaska and know what it's like to take friends and family out only to not find fish that day. Juan Carlos met us before and after the trip and offered discounted return trip that we will be back for. No fish, but had breaching whales, sunrise, beautiful views and great conversation.

Fun 1/2 day with Captain Jesus. My 13 yr old's first trip. Fishing is tough to review because you can't control the fish. We started slow, but Jesus wasn't going to let us leave empty handed. After a couple hours he went and hooked a little mackerel so John could reel it in. We had a few more hits and soon after John learned the difference in fighting dorado and the trout back home. Pretty cool experience for him and me to watch as Dad. Jesus found us a few more and I was lucky enough to catch my biggest dorado. All in all, a great day. Plenty to eat for the rest of the week here. Sushitimes boats aren't the newest and fanciest, but the price allows for a few blankets and camisetas from El mercado in addition. It's been 15 years since my last trip to Cabo but when we come back, I'll use Sushitime. Think beer and chips, not champagne and caviar.

We were shown only a distant photo of the boat we were supposed to go on. The sushi time broker Juan Carlos didn't even walk us to the boat. He asked for his cash and left. To our dismay, the boat was an old worn down boat, the glass door was busted and taped in place , the fighting chair was broken, the bath room was in bad shape and there was no ac in the cabin. On top when i caught a marlin and reeled it in the line broke as it got close to the boat. The fishing equipment was old and worn just like the boat and with no technology to find fish.I would spend a bit more next time and go with a reputable company with good quality boats.
