Beware. This is more of a "bait and switch" sales center than a hotel resort. They lied to us on check in and said they would give us 50% off regular rate if we attended a 90 minute sales tour. Given that we were highly interested in buying a club membership we accepted this rate. We showed up on time for scheduled tour and said we had plans 3 hours later, which was twice the amount of time they asked us to make available (90 minutes). They would not let us attend the tour because of our plans later in the day and charged us the additional 50% rate without our consent.

We came here for a great view of the city and some time at the beach. We were given free valet service for the time we spent here. The hotel is separated into two different buildings. We were excited to come here for a time share and receive 100 to spend at the resort. This was very different from what we were expecting. The time share took about 3 hours and not 1. Later we were told that we had to spend the 100 in three different restaurants at the hotel. We were promised reserved seating at the rooftop bar but never got it. The beach portion has good views and gentle waves. This area is loaded with tourists and it is hard to grab chairs and a couch. It also takes a while to get your food. The dirty monkey is a great drink and the sushi rolls are divine. My favorite sushi rolls are the Bruce Lee and the Alaskan Roll. This place really shines with the roof top bars. One bar is called Baja Brewery and it has 5 beers and TVs for sports. The other bar is called The Rooftop and it is more classy and secluded. You can see the entire city from the latter bar. The Rooftop also has a pool and dance floor.

The rooms in the new tower are certainly very nice but for the hassle you have to go through in listening to their sales pitch, it’s not worth the time. You find out how desperate they are to sell you something when they start dropping the price significantly which makes you wonder what type of quality product you are really getting offered. Any legitimate business offering shouldn’t be decided on the fly and takes more than 90 minutes to analyze and decide. Maybe work on a business model that makes future owners feel more comfortable with deciding on these large purchases instead of being so pushy. Even at the end when we said NO and were about to walk out, they were still throwing figures and options out. My take on the San Lucas area is don’t go if you want to relax because it’s full of time share and other kinds of pushy sales people (go if you like to party). We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva in the San Jose area and could actually walk around without someone trying to sell us something which was very relaxing like a vacation SHOULD be.

I have been here 3 times my friend has The Beach House Time Share. Things have changed all beach street vendors offer all drugs and anything you wish now. Great hotel but maybe Cabo now been run by cartels???? Going down fast can't recommend to much cartel now control the area. Stay away from here to feel safe.

This place just keeps getting better. Every time we come back they have stunning new additions. Insane Beach club and rooftop lounge. It’s on the strip with a few other resorts next to the marina, which has the best view of the Baja. I will say my wife got annoyed at first by their persistent employees trying to get you to join as a member, but at least we got a few free things out of it.

The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful. But we were forced to go to 2.5 hour time share presentation and when we declined, they were very rude and did not honor there coupons that were promised. That was the only downfall of my stay. The beach was amazing
