Great British food, Great Indian food some how combined on a menu, shouldn't work but it really does. Also great beer selection, and a well turned out venue with roof terrace and top service.

Extraordinarily disappointing. I'm English, took my Mexican girlfriend here to try and show her some British cuisine, wish I never had. We ordered the sharing selection and absolutely everything arrived cold, I mean completely cold and had to be sent back. The lentil curry was more of a soup, it's ridiculous to even call it a curry. The fish and chips were very mediocre, more like fries than chips. The Bangers and Mash was an insult to the dish, completely lumpy potato, very poor quality meat in the sausages full of gristle and some horribly sweet caramelised onions on top absolutely drowning out the other flavours. The rice for the curry was covered in tomato which was quite odd and the naan bread was more like a tortilla. All tasted microwaved too. And the desserts? Absolutely laughable. Banana cake was half stale and the trifle was just abysmal. A tiny jar of blackberry puree with a bit of sponge cake and vanilla yoghurt. Embarrassing. They couldn't even do a decent cup of tea, had to send away for cold milk after just being brought water, then had to request a spoon only to be given an enormous dessert spoon. I don't think a British person was included in creating this menu, they'd be embarrassed to serve this up. For only the second time in my life I complained at a restaurant, the manager was extremely rude and unpleasant claiming that the food wasn't cold and that it was all very high quality food, I wasn't the only person complaining that day as we overhead another table having similar problems. This was my second attempt at visiting the restaurant as the first time we went there they were closed even though their website claimed it was open in this period. Avoid at all costs if you want anything close to British food, it's a complete joke. Extremely expensive too considering how poor it is. Very disappointed.
