Upscale, but reasonably priced. Well-prepared food, without unnecessarily pretentious ingredients. Expect to pay about USD40 for a starter, main course and glass of wine.

This was an excellent find. After the madness of 5 th Ave, the quiet upscale ambience was so great. The service was exceptional and the croquettes and Francesinha were very authentic and delicious! Loved it all!

We stayed here for hours. We went in for lunch and shared the arros de mariscos. It was wonderful but the service and atmosphere is what kept us there. Located a few blocks away from the main street it was a peaceful alternative for lunch. The servers Ody and Ceasar took such good care of us and looked right on trend in the uniforms. This place is ideal for a lunch and dinner.

Excellent! Five stars! Our server Cesar was so attentive and answered all our questions. The cheese plate and mushroom appetizer were so tasty! They had great music playing and a wonderful atmosphere both inside and outside. The theme was Portuguese, and we had some amazing wine from Portugal, Cesar was able to recommend the best food for me as a vegetarian. The dessert was also top notch! I would recommend to anyone in Playa del Carmen to stop here for dinner and drinks.

Take a step away from the madness that is Avienda Cinco and discover the Belmonte experience. We stumbled across it last night and were so glad we did. The Portuguese inspired menu was a breath of fresh air and was superbly executed in front of our eyes at what amounted to a chef's table. The ambience, decor, music and service matched the food - we will return and perhaps bring friends so we can order the salt encrusted cod, a table side experience.

Truly wonderful place! We felt in love with it! High quality food, excellent service and amazing atmosphere! I’m absolutely obsessed with Foie gras and chocolate cake! Big thanks to Caesar for being so wonderful always we go there. Really recommend!
