Gunnar and Jacqueline were super friendly and professional and helped us discover the Bacalar region (the forest in the morning, then the lake in the evening) through a walking tour and a kayak tour. Great ways to discover the region, off the beaten path, all while respecting the ecosystem. Highly recommended!

Two of us, experienced sea kayakers, arranged for a 2 day kayak camping trip, arranged from 2000 miles away. Communication was very timely and informative. The guide, BCU 4-eligible Eric Gonzalez was prepared, professional and knowledgeable of the area. The sea kayaks were in very good shape. It was a great trip, and we requested an additional day of kayaking, and were accommodated easily. Beautiful Lake Bacalar was a perfect choice, Active Nature a great outfitter.
