One of the best dive shops ever, Mario and his staff went above and beyond to make my diving experience pleasurable & memorable. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for aquatic activities in Acapulco

Mario and team provide great experience. We were a group of 5 from Canada and US, 4 of us open water students and I was just fun diving. the 4 students got their certs in with big smiles while I enjoyed beautiful warm waters diving with giant rays, turtles, eels, And hey people, Acapulco isn't anymore unsafe than anywhere else. Do not listen to the nonsense in the English speaking media and government websites. We really enjoyed our stay and diving and the beach in Acapulco and will do it again., and plenty of fish (not the dating app).

Extremely professional crew with top notch safety and service! SDA accommodated our large group of all ages (ages 14-86). Not all of us could/wanted to go diving so they dropped half of us off (with a guide) at a beach on La Roqueta to relax while the others went diving. All of the employees were incredibly nice, well trained and very helpful. As i mentioned before, my 86 year old grandmother joined us on this trip and SDA went above and beyond to take care of her and make sure she was comfortable and safe. The ONLY negative thing i can say about SDA is the wetsuits were a bit worn out and almost falling apart in some cases. The rest of the diving gear like the breathing apparatus, bouyancy vest, goggles, tank, etc. is almost all brand new, well maintained and worked perfectly. The location of the SDA office is also inside an abandoned resort which is worth visiting on its own.

Interesting location for a dive shop. The captain and crew were great. Pole' our dive master led us on two amazing dives in the bay near the dive shop. Water temp was comfortable enough for me to wear a dive skin. Saw sea horse, turtles and eels.

Competent and courteous team on the boat. The equipment was impeccable on first try. Lots of rocks, but some interesting wildlife. I appreciate very much that they considered having my dog and my girlfriend on board. Unfortunately, she stayed on shore (with the dog), because a couple of clients were scared of dogs in general, which is fair game.

I am in my 50s and today with SDA was my first diving experience. I loved every minute of it. A great and competent crew, equipment and diving location was top-notch. I didn't expect such a rich and colorful variety of underwater life. My instructor Polo was superb and my initial fears and anxieties were handled with utmost professionalism. I had a blast and can't wait to do it again. If you are in good health, do add diving with SDA to your top 3 things to do in Acapulco. I know I have.

Fantastic dive shop and and people. Last week on vacation, I completed some certifications and went on 14 dives with them ranging from wreck to night to deep dives. Great people to be around and they are very accommodating and flexible to help their customers.
