The food is great but a little overpriced. The portions are small as if we're in Europe but still the quality is excellent. The staff is very friendly and everyone is so kind and they explain everything that's in your food to make you live the best experience. I'm giving 4 stars cause the prices/portions but other than that it's a great place.

This is an excellent place .. I have been reading some reviews however I did not experience it as bad as they said, the attention we got (we were a group of 8 people) was excellent. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the moment and everything arrived in a good time. The flavor of the things are excellent, I cannot compare it to original Russian food to say of it is totally equal or have had it's adaptation to arrive in Mexico , but in general the taste has delighted all of us. About the prices, we thought it was very fair according to the concept they are offering, it's kinda gourmet, a small but comfortable place, I do not know if other people are expecting to pay as they pay for more usual food. You have to make up you mind you won't find anything like Mexican food there but the pepper sauces that go with the bread and the mayo for the center of the table. The only thing that we could suggest is to improve the menu and specially the wine section, since they are all classified as red wine, but there are white and red on the same list as well as adding the description of the dish on the menu.

The whole experience was not satisfactory. First of all by the food. Out of 3 different meals I tried none of them I could call a proper Russian cousine. Very bad representation of Russian cousine. I will not recommend my international friends to try that untasty food. Fried potatoes were not fried, they were boiled and slightly fried on the side with raw onions and enormous amount of oil. Vareniki were undercooked yet some of them were ripped and filling came out. Last attempt was caviar pancake, that was a bit burnt and same time chewy ( me and my friend thought it was cooked and frozen before cooking it in the restaurant or something like that) not even mention size of portions ( didn’t realize that was a shortage of potatoes in Mexico) I wonder if the owners are Russian why can’t they control the quality of the food like they do in Mexico City. I’ve been in a few Russian restaurants in MC, food delicious and reasonably priced. Unlike in Russian restaurant in Guadalajara. On another hand if owners aren’t Russian then why bother. Whichever is the case food isn’t Russian, just pitiful copy of it. The Fact that Mexican people don’t know the real taste should not encourage the administration to take advantage of that. To finish my story, my friends and I could not pay as terminal wasn’t working neither they had change. That caused even more frustration with the experience.
