We were desperately searching for mezcal to take home with us and quickly discovered that the \Mezcal & Tequila\ spots around town are beyond overpriced. In my hunt, I found El Grifo and I'm so glad that I did! Not only do they have truly artisanal mezcal but they have a well-educated bartender to guide you through your tasting and purchasing experience. Also, the prices are incredibly fair and they sell the jicara cups so you can get the true mezcal experience at home. They had a wide arrange of local craft beers too, I didn't try any of them but absolutely would recommend anyone looking for a good cocktail or beer stop to come here and get a taste of Mexico.
Great craft beers, the large variety of craft and artesanal beers. Service needs to improve a lot.
Meh... Decent stock of local and foreign beer but loud music, drunk employees (at 5pm!), smoking inside, disengaged waiters and non of the employees was wearing masks (and due to the loud music came very close to talk).
great place and nice selection of craft beers and mezcalcocktails. Best find in Tulum along with Las Gorditas (same owners) tacos and more place next door that still isn’t on google nor maps it seems. You can sit at el grifo and order in tacos from las gorditas or the other way around. Really, best tacos and queso derretido and beers anywhere in a 200km radius. bravo!
