This is some of the best Indian food I've had in my entire life, and I've spent a lot of time in India! It's legit, homemade from scratch seasonings, sauces, and breads. Fresh vegetables and beans. And the owner is so nice. Highly recommend.

I write this opinion in English, because most Tijuans will understand. Visitors to the US, and locals should know that this restaurant has a level of excellent cuisine. I have been fortunate to taste Hindu food in the world: London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, Quito, New York and Montreal; Believe me, this little place is my favorite. This is a lovely place to eat Indian food, the owner is incredibly kind and he always treats his customers to some chai tea or appetizers while the food arrives. They are very hard working and the pandemic has hit them hard but they have managed to stay open regardless with take out service. The butter chicken, tikka masala and the nan bread are amazing!

I love Indian food and trying new restaurants. Punjabi was nice because they offer all of the standard dishes with flavors slightly different than Indian food from California, USA. It's in a hip area of Tijuana that is well lit with plenty of parking. We ordered the Thali Vegetariano (vegetarian dinner) chicken tandoori, potato samosas, and masala chai. Everything was great. The interior is colorful, clean, and comfortable. It seats about 40. The staff was fast, friendly, and efficient. They speak many languages including English and Spanish. It's great to know where to find great Indian food in Baja. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.
