I rented a car couple of months ago, they charged me a full tank of gas when I returned it with the same gas I was given, they gave me an email as they do not have. A direct number if any thing is over charged (very very hard for issue to be solved and o one to actually call) someone replied very rude to me stating I needed to wait until they look into this, I have email them and it’s been so many months still no answer, went straight to the airport and again they refer you to this on line thing, NEVER again I am renting from them, very bad experience.

As with any car rental company they’ll try and sell you extra insurance. The online prices that look too good to be true really are. Be very aware of what cover you might already have if you pay for the rental with a credit card that has rental insurance as a perk and only buy what you need. All that said, I have to give them their due. I left my GoPro in the trunk of my rental in its accessory case when I returned it. Unable to call their number from the US (having crossed to San Diego) I asked a Mexican friend to call for me and check if they had found it. They had, and they held it for me until I went to pick it up that afternoon. The car I rented was as expected, in very good condition. The tank of gas I prepaid was charged at just under 1000 pesos, so exactly at forecourt prices, so it seems they aren’t overcharging for gas any more as older reviews mention. In short caveat emptor with regard to the prices and typical hard sell on the insurance but kudos for the honesty over the lost property.

They take any chance to charge you extra. Your “free upgrade” will cost you. You asked for an automatic? They will ask for 10 more on desk. They will try to double sell you the insurance. This place made me leave Hertz forever. Avoid at all costs.

Un pésimo servicio. Tardé más en rentar un auto que mi vuelo para llegar a Tijuana. Están sobre pasados en personal y sistemas y sin mencionar la entrega del auto el cual revisan como si me fueran a entregar las joyas de la corona. Deberían aprender de sus socios en los EE. UU. 2hrs para rentar un auto.

English: Terrible service and won’t respect your reservation. I had a confirmed reservation, but when I got there, they told me that they didn’t have any cars of the size I’d reserved and didn’t respect the supposed policy about giving you a car of the size you reserved or better. They claimed to only have larger cars and wanted to charge me nearly 1,000 USD extra for the upgrade. Definitely look for another company. Español: Terrible servicio y no respetan reservaciones. Yo tenía una reservación confirmada, pero cuando llegue, me dijeron que no tenían vehículos del tamaño que yo había reservado, pero no respetaron su supuesta política de darte un auto del tamaño que reservaste o más grande. Dijeron que sólo tenían autos más grandes y me querían cobrar casi 1,000USD para darme uno de estos. Definitivamente busquen otra compañía para rentar.
