Great tour that helps maintain the facility. However, if you're not a Spanish speaker, you may not get as much from the tour (IMHO, still worthwhile). For 60 years or older, the cost is 10 pesos per adult (about 50 cents). Otherwise, it's 20 pesos per person (about 1 USD). The famous Querétaro aquaduct terminates inside the convent walls. The kitchen area includes a view of the efrigeration\ methods from before the industrial age, as well as the chimney for the cooking fires and the water storage wells. Highly recommend.

A beautiful church in downtown Queretaro. A peaceful place in the middle of town. Like most of the churches I've visited in Mexico, the architecture is impressive. Busy on the weekends, this square is a great place to soak up the local culture.

The spines of the tree there miraculously changed and took the shape of a cross with 3 additional small spines showing the wounds of Christ. I go there at least twice every time I go to Queretaro. Powerful pilgrimage place.
