The feeling you get just being in the church and see all the testimonies of the miracles El Niño de Atocha has performed and see all the people that go like me its beautiful. I grew up knowing about him, my parents grew up in a town close by, Hacienda Nueva and my mom would always have an image or a statue of him. So to go and be there I felt very Bless and fortunate.

A peaceful place. Lots of little shops and good food. Is consider the third place in mexico because of the religious beliefs and nd visits.
I've been here many times and never had a bad experience. Yes, the church gets packed. Yes, there's a lot of people. I always like coming here early in the morning because you'll find room in the church and it's easier to walk in front to get your things blessed by the priest. The food is amazing anywhere you go and everyone is really nice. If you are looking for something they will tell you where to find it. And if you're unsure of something they will help you out. When I say \they\ I mean anyone that works in the restaurants or shops.
I been here one time and I got to say that it's a beautiful place!!! Hermosa parroquia!!!
