Love this place, but there’s still some room for improvement. Ordered: Panem Salad Four Cheese Pizza Iced Mocha Matcha Frap Café de Olla Chilaquiles The salad was delicious, the sugared pecans were a very nice touch. The pizza was hands down my favorite, great cheese! My Mocha however came in the form of a Frap... so beware, iced here really means blended! The matcha Frap was perfect. Café de olla was delicious but cold. The chilaquiles were a bit of a trip. The menu states they’re served on a bed of refried beans... well we didn’t see any. When we mentioned this to the employees they wanted to take our plates back, inspect them, and then decide whether or not they would bring us a side of refried beans. As if! Customer is always king, but not at this place! I don’t know what they’ll do to my plate back there... when we mentioned this to the employee, he said we could go in the kitchen to watch. First, that’s a Health hazard, we could contaminate the food being prepared back there. Second, we’re having a meal. You shouldn’t make a customer get up just to watch you inspect a plate and see if you get what you paid for. A good manager would just give you a side of refried beans immediately. The cost is so small! If you’re going to be charging what you charge, own it, live up to it, and try to match customer service and protocol with your prices. Posted Friday, June 14th at 10:45 am
