Ate here every morning I was in Cozumel! It was amazing the owner Rene is so sweet and knows how to make some delicious vegan mexican food! I tried almost everything in the vegan section and loved everything. The portions are huge and for a good price! They also have many other options if you aren't vegan. I will be dreaming of the food until I come back. The staff is amazing you will be hooked just like me! Also it is so cute, I love the paintings on the wall.

Been here a couple of times and food is delicious. Large servings and great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Staff is also very attentive and friendly.

Disclaimer: I’m writing this review from the perspective of someone with dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy). If this doesn’t apply to you then by all means please consider the other 5 star reviews. I was eager to eat breakfast at Amparo’s based on reviews indicating that they had gluten free pancakes that weren’t on the menu. Unfortunately, when I arrived I was told they don’t serve them. My husband ordered blueberry pancakes and received strawberry pancakes. I ended up ordering the vegan skillet which was nutritious but lacking in flavor. The horchata was watered down. We also ordered a fruit platter which felt like a huge waste of money once we received it. The money would’ve been better spent to purchase breakfast from a local market.

Amparo's is a nice spot off the main street. We went for breakfast. The selection was great, they had both american and local cuisine. I really loved their selection of juices and smoothies. The espresso was very good as well. The atmosphere was pleasant, the walls were hand painted with fun and interesting art.
