AWESOME! Incredible tamales and delicious chocolate drinks made with beans ground in house and other local ingredients like cinnamon almonds and more. GO! Support this small family run business.

A really magical, totally uniquely local Mexican experience. The hot chocolate was amazing. Don’t miss the truffles.

Really amazing place. The chills, the creeps, the feels. You hanging around is a must go. Just do it.

I visited this place as part of a small tour. They had delicious cocoa drinks, and the group thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I walked out with several bags of powdered cocoa and a bottle of chocolate liquor. Unfortunately, I can't rate this exclusively based on the quality of the product, and have to dock points for two reasons. First, the faucet in the washroom was broken, and I had to manually turn on and off the water supply from the pipes under the sink. Please, have a sign explaining this or get a new faucet. Secondly, the lady behind the counter didn't have any issues with our group taking multiple photos of our drinks and ourselves attempting to grind the cocoa nibs with traditional tools. However, the moment I pointed my camera towards the bookshelves, which were very picturesque thanks to the backlighting from a setting sun, I'm treated to a ”¡sin foto señor!” This soured my experience and left me with a negative impression. Dear owner: either allow photos or don't, but make your policy consistent. If you choose to ban pictures, have a sign.

More than 5 starts, maybe the best place in San Juan to try the real Mexican flavor, a bit of its escense.
