A must see place in Mexico. The church is beautiful and the art is awesome. You can ge there during the sunset because you will enjoy the view. There is one thing that was really annoying is that the people do not care about the place. They get snacks and they leave a mess behind while there is a bin next to them but they don't clean it up. It is something shameful.

your jaw will drop when you witness the facade of this amazing colonial church. it is a true work of colonial art assisted by local indigenous people. the lions the Hapsburg eagles all meld into a unique style only seen on this church. inside one will be awed by the retablos and altar. be sure to walk all the way to the altar and then visit the side altars to the right. there are often locals praying in this area.
