The Mexican Institute of Behavioral Economics (Instituto Mexicano de Economía del Comportamiento A.C. in spanish) is a mexican, non-profit and private institution, focused on applying Behavioral Science to improving the design of products, services and strategies. IMEC was founded in 2015 and has worked on more than 20 projects involving behavioral change in areas like finance, organizational change, capacity development and product and service adoption. We have built and developed our own framework to deal with behavioral challenges and have focused on building tools that allow us to better inform the research, diagnosis and design/ideation phases of our Behavioral Design Process. IMEC is formed by a group of behavioral economists, psychologists, sociologists, industrial designes and publicists that have experience working with Behavioral Challenges and have been extensive training on research tools and design processes. IMEC has no political affiliations nor is funded by any organisms or institutions that have a different objective as ours: helping people live a better life by promoting ethical applications of behavioral science.
