My family and I just LOVED it here! Such an informative and fun experience! Our host Jorge was outstanding and you could tell he loved his job. I'm so happy we were able to make a reservation for the 2 hour chocolate experience. I was well worth the cost. We took home a ton of chocolate that we got to make. We will return and do the experience again with more family next time. I would definitely recommend to families and single people. It would also make for a fun date. The whole staff was great, but Jorge made it very special for us.

My teenage kids and I had a fantastic experience in the Ganache & Truffles class! Fernanda was fun, patient, and a great teacher. Highly recommend taking a couple hours to create your own truffles - so many reasons to enjoy this unique museo!!

The kids and I did the bean to bar workshop with sweet Miss Gio. It includes an amazing view from the third floor, we even saw whales! We made 3 drinks (the cocoa bean tea was out of this world) and two ancient drinks that takes you back a few thousand years lol. We each got to decorate and top off our own chocolates and they were nice enough to hold our goodies in the fridge while we walked the malecón. My mother and my husband did the mole workshop on the second floor and it included a ride to the local market to buy ingredients. This workshop requires a bit of muscle and my mom was very glad my husband was there to grind everything up the old fashioned way. We look the lot of it back to the hotel kitchen to make mole and the rest we put in our checked in bag to bring home. It’s in the freezer for later use! Excellent taste we know now how to make it from scratch

This place is wonderful with fabulous staff!!! Edward, Fabio (I don't know how to spell your name properly), and Giovanna all were more than fabulous. Both Edward and Fabio worked in the store and Giovanna taught us the \Bean to Bar\ work shop. We were very happy with our choice of workshop (Giovanna is THE BEST) and we learned a lot. We highly recommend it. It cost 730 pesos per person which we paid in the store when we reserved for the class the day before. This also entitles you to 10% off all items in the store and coffee shop. Yummy! We did buy quite a bit of stuff so we can continue making the lovely drinks, such as the dried raw cacao beans, and the husks from the roasted cocoa beans to use in teas. We also bought two of their already mixed drinks in powder form where you only need to add milk or water.
