This is a great resort. Isaac Nava, his Platinum Club manager (Sara Gonzales) and the staff are very helpful, courteous and professional. Unfortunately, this resort is understaffed. Before going we were told Ventus facilities are operating at 30% capacity but this is not the case. Resort is partially open with limited staff. Our family has been vacationing in Cancún for 25 years but this is the first time I've heard staff members complaining about the owners of this resort (abusive) practices. Ventus is co-joined with Marina El Cid. Several large Marina buildings are still closed since reopening in June 2020. Ventus was operating at 90% capacity in mid March but the Marina El Cid buildings are less. Many restaurants are closed for either breakfast or dinner while operating with the limited staff from 2020. Services and entertainment are curtailed due to these staff limitations. Some guests refuse to wear masks and take advantage of inadequate staffing to serve themselves in buffet lines ignoring sanitary practices. This predictable behavior exposes others following the rules. Future virus could spread undetected due to inadequate (nose only) Covid-19 testing required for US bound return flights.

I have been here on two separate occasions, and even though I loved this resort, I can't lie about what happened the first time. The first time I went, I got food poisoning from their food. Hamburger patties were left sitting out at room temperature before being placed on the grill, so the meat was no longer safe. I did not make the connection until after I had already gotten sick. As long as you don't eat any hamburgers, you should be fine as I didn't get sick on my second trip. We also had a problem with the power going out the first time. Pretty much every night for a week my lights wouldn't turn on during the night. I did not have this problem on my second trip. The food is good with a variety of restaurants to chose from. They have expanded the resort recently, so there are many pools to choose from and a lot of land to walk around on. The customer service was great though! The butler was so kind (both times) and the aromatherapy at nighttime is a great touch.

Food is wonderful (every detail is attended to, especially if you have allergies!), staff are great, and the grounds are beautiful! Don't miss the fire show! The covid-19 cleaning and standards are outstanding. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pools and spas are great (I just wish the pools were heated!)

Absolutely top notch! Some of the best food you will ever eat. The staff is amazing. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly manicured. You will not want to leave.

This resort was and will be my favorites relaxation spot... Amazing service from every aspect of an all inclusive resort! My wife and I chose this location for our honeymoon and we were treated like royalty every second! We met amazing people from the staff, to the vendors, to the actual guest and more! Literally every second was like a piece of paridise's puzzle was given to us and we simply had to let it fall intoits perfect place. From the front desk to the beach cleaners, everyone was prompt , courteous, and in my humble opinion loving of not only what they do but how they do it. We were never disappointed and never made to feel like we were a burden! This place helped my wife and I create memories and love each other more than either of us imagined possible because we literally felt like we were surrounded by love the entire time we were there! Thank you to all of the following individuals for specifically showing us acceptance and exceptional service every time we saw them... We can't wait to see you all on our next visit! This is our 5th visit here in 4 years. Always feels like home away from home. Beaches are great! Staff is extremely friendly and the food is great. Many restaurants and room service included in this all-inclusive resort. Feel extremely safe. Enouvh to bring the kids. If u look hard enough you can see the security. They are subtle and well hidden. The rooms are lush and the laid back atmosphere is relaxing. The pools are refreshing and clean. You can't go wrong!! Waiters Pedro, Alex, Eduardo, and Butler Anderson were amazing!!!
