The boy who gave us the turtles treated them very bad and has thrown them around in the bowl! We already had a bad feeling because of this. For us it seems like a business, not as a sanctuary. Please read the other reviews, more people feel that there is something wrong. Would never come back und not recommend that place. We regret that we participated and supported them.

Beautiful experience! The volunteers tell you about the turtles, and you have the opportunity to name and release your turtle into the ocean. Amazing to watch them crawl all the way to the water and flap their fins. Definitely go at 5pm every day!
I been searching about this do it yourself your release turtle tour. So you can do it yourself. Take taxi for 60 pesos one way from zicatela to bacocho beach. Take the taxi number and ask the taxi drive come back to pick you at anytime. They are very informative, release turtle start at 5-7pm, each person pay 100 pesos to released turtle. They are NGO, cleaning the beaches and help the turtles. After released the turtle we walk to the club villa sol enjoy our sunset. You need to pay 100 pesos for entry. The 100 pesos is consumed! Our cost is 600 pesos for 2 people: released turtles return taxi sunset drinks snack tips. Best deal ever!
Don’t go there!! There a sanctuary for DEATH baby turtles!! You pay 100 pesos per each to see a baby turtle eat by bird or fish...
