Our day with Playa Yachting was amazing! Thank you to our crew who made our day a success! They were very tentative and even arranged for more beer and Clamato juice haha. The snorkelling was very good. Saw a few rays, a turtle from a distance and many beautiful and colourful fish in the reef. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Angelo for putting it all together ️

After being all cooped up in in the states my friends and I wanted to do something fun and well, travel. So we booked a trip to Playa. To be cautious we decided to do a yacht tour and stay away from crowds. The package we got was fantastic!! It's all inclusive all you can eat, drink and snorkeling gear. We did the tour for 5 hours and it was more than enough to fill our day. Highly recommend them. All of their staff was great to work with. Thank you!!

Warning: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. They are very unprofessional people within this organization. Not one person, crew, manager, sales person will take fault for the multiple things that went wrong. 1. The first rounds of drinks had a weird melted foam taste. 2. Ran out of vodka after only one round of drinks. Eight professional adults only having one vodka and soda. 3. Took about 45 minutes to anchor the boat while almost running into other boats in the snorkeling area. 4. The company told us the boat was equipped with proper snorkeling gear. That is inaccurate information. They had a variety of snorkels that leaked, flippers that were broken, and no two same size flippers. 5. The vest I picked up out of the storage cabinet had roaches on it. Not one but 6 roaches about 3 inches big. 6. The snorkeling area was decent but it was too sandy with the current condition. That is fine but they should have gave us a heads up and not “promise” we would see sea turtles. After all this, the group of people I with, decided to cut our loses and end the trip two hours early. When talking to management about the problems that occurred, they didn’t seem to care about the costumer. This is very unacceptable, especially since the tourism industry has taken a massive loss over the last year. Many companies would go above and above to earn your business but not this company. They wouldn’t even refund a partial of the money paid because of the experience. I usually do not write reviews but my experience was so bad, I wanted other costumers to know and beware of what you are getting when you book with this company.

All I can say is that on my 5 day vacation to Puerto Aventuras, this was by far the worst part. A group of 8 professionals (mid 30s) and myself booked a day on the water to snorkel. We used google maps to get to the meet up spot, and there was no marina/no office. Took us 45 minutes to get to the office and subsequently get to the boat. On the boat, we received one round of cocktails in yellow disposable cups - with a nasty taste. Needless to say, fearful of traveler's diarrhea, I dumped my drink overboard and stuck with beer. When it was time to anchor, we got uncomfortably close to already parked boats and the staff could not get the anchor to hold. They dived multiple times to get it to stick. As the staff started handing out gear, we were short on the flippers, short on life jackets. The snorkels appeared unwashed and yellowish. The worst part is that my partner's life jacket had 4-6 LIVING COCKROACHES all over it. I demanded he throw it into the ocean to rinse it. It was at that point that I decided not to participate out of fear and lack of usable equipment. I stayed on board in the turbulent water. My friends were out on the reef for about 15 minutes and turned back explaining that due to the weather conditions, they were unable to see any of the reef. We were not advised that the weather was going to prevent us from the full experience. All in all, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

What a tour and fun time out in the sea!!! We booked this boat tour as part of our mayan riviera trip and we loved it. It was all-inclusive, from some amazing ceviche, and hamburgers to great drinks all day. I highly recommend this. Specially if you're mixing your trip up with a visit to the Tulum ruins, another day of shopping and so on. Variety was definetely key for us :) P.s. Check out Xplore park as well!! The ziplines are unreal :D
