Staying close by. Had very little expectations but was completely surprised. Without question one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted (ordered it double crispy) with a tomato salad and a glass of red. Amazing.

Two for two from this excellent restaurant. Food and service are very good. Pizza our 1st night was perfectly prepared and presented. We prefer thin crust pizza and this brick oven pizza was right on. Brucchetta was delicious on the homemade bread with perfect texture and crust. Gnocchi and seafood fettuccine the 2nd night were outstanding. Prices are reasonable. It's apparent that the owners take great pride in their food and service unlike many other restaurants on 5th Avenue where service is just transactional.
We were staying nearby, so we dropped into this place not expecting much. We ordered a salad, a pasta, and a pizza. It was the best pizza I've ever had in Mexico. All of the food was outstanding. Since we were staying nearby, Salento became our go-to restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is great. I can't recommend it enough!
One of the best places for Italian in playa del Carmen in my opinion. Awesome pizzas great pastas and excellent service in a comfortable casual environment. Good value.
