Great place, amazing buffet and good meat. While I really enjoyed the buffet as it is super delicious, the meat itself was mostly over cooked and a bit dry. Later in the evening it went better and they started serving more medium rare meat. As for the taste, also the meat was great, even though sometimes the seasoning was very light. The staff is nice and helpful too. For my experience, the water is way overpriced since that’s probably one of the ways how these restaurants make their money. For a water bottle, we paid roughly 200 pesos. The whole experience is recommended though.

For 740 pesos you get a very extensive buffet and a great selection of meats. I also like that given covid, you do not serve yourself at the buffet but instead point to what you want and the staff scoops it for you. My favorite meats were the medium rare sirloin, picana, flank steak, sausage, chicken, and the Parmesan crusted pork. My favorite buffet items were the beats, mashed potatoes, paella, chile relleno, frojoles, corn on the cob with cream sauce, grape salad, apple salad, and the carrot salad. The appetizer tray was great too. One compliant is that they make their garlic bread with what appears to be garlic mayo rather than garlic butter. I really didn't like that.
This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been, no complaints at all!!!!! The servers were great extremely detailed. Everyone was careful wore their masks around us. A server is assigned to go up to the salad bar per person. The servers with the meat came very often and were very generous. The bathrooms were immaculate, I love when bathrooms have the little mouth wash area. Someone cleaned the stall as soon as you left it and wiped down the counters. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good celebratory dinner place, they also do an amazing job at singing happy Birthday!!!
Wish we never went. I’m quite confused how they have such good reviews. I’ve been to Brazilian steakhouses all of the world, and this is by far the worst (even compared to ones I paid 149 mx for in Mexico, where bovinos was 740 mx). Everything was over cooked, all meats WELL WELL done. We repeatedly kindly asked for cuts that were a little less cooked, more “rare” and got ignored. Service for the first 2 minutes was good, then it ceased to exist and we often had to ask for more meats and items. Salad bar was fair and cafeteria service with COVID. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Bovino's is a must for all of the carnivores out there. The servers bring an abundance of different kinds of delicious meat to the table. They also have a great selection at the buffet. Make sure to bring your appetite!
