Amazing place, went there during the pandemic. All the local staff were well organized. Not a lot of people, some restaurants were opened. You can enter the pyramids zone , but not climb them. I think this is the best time to go and see the pyramids, this place usually packed with tourists and visitors.

Perfect, super, must see! Wonderfull! Bad is, no posible going up to the pyramides.
Don't go on Saturday or Sunday after 10am! They have a limit on the people that can enter and they will leave you out!
Really cool place! Definitely worth visiting since you can get here in about an hour from Mexico city from Autobuses del norte. Huge area with 2 large pyramids and bunch of smaller structures for the spectators at the time (probably). The only minus was the amount of people trying to sell you souvenirs. We were the first to arrive so when we walked towards the lunar pyramid we got like 20 different people trying sell something.
It was my dream to go there. I was totally impressed and stunned. You can climbe the pyramids. It was in February 2019 - sunny but windy so be ready. In general worth of going. Not so far from the capital city so you can buy a day-trip probably in every hotel/hostel. Not as many tourists as I expected. I have to add that the place is enormous so be prepare for lots of walking.
