Great place in a convenient location. Jesus works at the front desk and is very friendly and knowledgeable. Because of some maintenance work I even got a day for free. Fast WIFI. Big pool. Would stay here again when in Merida.

Really obscure place with all this cheap "art" artefacts. Price is good, but room was really dark and small. Breakfast is poor, just toast, butter, marmalade and coffee. You will probably meet there few US pensioners waiting for their teeth reconstruction or other medical treatments. Best thing which means third star is swimming pool.

Feels like a Hotel in the heart of centro. I stayed a month the rate was excellent, but it was off season. Beautiful art collection, big pool, very clean, quality service. Breakfast staff and food was disappointing. Needs improvement. Not a Hostel vibe.More like a Hacienda. Romántico and quaint atmosphere.

Staff Were kind and let us leave our bags there after we checked out and the outdoor space is good with tables and paintings and plants. However our room, more specifically bathroom, wasn’t great. Light switches were black with dirt, shower curtain had spots of mould all over it. Think the fan hole in the bathroom wasn’t netted as we seemed to always have mosquitoes in the room. We used the kitchen a few times and found everything we needed. The included breakfast is very basic and coffee weak. Finally, there was a very sad water feature/pond in the courtyard that had big fish and at least one turtle in it that was dirty, murky and depressingly small for all those animals, which was hard to walk past every time i went to my room. If you want a pond feature make it clean sizeable and habitable for the animals or don’t have it at all, it’s not fair.

Excellent. Beautiful hostel. The room was silence. The pool nice. And the breakfast ok.

Is now called "Siesta Fiesta Hostel", host was a really nice person and did his best. The place got some big potential but is quite an old building and needs some work to improve. Contra: Showers don't work properly (sprinkles everywhere and not warm water at all), some flies in it. Not AC. Good: Hamoks outside the room, very central Hostel, you can use the kitchen, breakfast included (but only coffee, toast and a fruit haha).

Bohemian out of the box place. Full of art works and knick nacks. The rooms are not boxed and placed in a grid style. No breakfast served and the pool is not used although it has water. Quite friendly and I enjoyed my stay there. Needs a good management scrub.
