Wow! Monique's is not that easy to find if you're unfamiliar with Merida but it is worth the time. For someone who needs a vegan and/or organic-based option, this is definitely your place. All kinds of kombucha and home made kefir, yummy breads (wide selection)..you can phone ahead and they will make you some of the items on their regular menu for takeout. I will go back for sure!

Amazing hidden gem. Shady seating in the outdoor garden, and your host will bring you a fan if needed. Free unlimited purified water and house-made sourdough bread served with herbed olive oil. Pizza is delicious, and lots of creative options such as smoked salmon omelette and croque monsieur, but the real star was the vegan burger served on house-made sourdough rolls with arugula pesto - so delicious! Lovely, friendly staff and live music on Sundays. Will be back for sure!!
