We recently brought in our litter of puppies to DogLover after having picked them up from another vet and finding them to have received astoundingly poor care. Our puppies were emaciated, and had respiratory and viral concerns remaining, which were not addressed by the previous vet. Dr. Gissell took our puppies under her wing and nursed them back to health, meanwhile providing us with detailed updates along the way, as well as after the puppies had been released back into our care. Puppies are going great now and we’re very appreciative to her!

I can’t rave anymore about this place, after my dog being one week at a different veterinary hospital with NO improvements and only getting more critical as time passed by, they had no idea what was going on with my dog I decided to take her out of that place brought her straight to Dog lover, was right away treated by Dr. Cynthia she ran several different tests and knew immediately what was going on with her and was able to perform surgery and save my baby’s life! I’ll forever be grateful to Dr. Cynthia and the rest of the amazing staff at Dog Lover. Will always only bring all my other babies to her. Mil gracias Dog Lover!!

I brought my puppy right away because she was vomiting and diarrhea. I knew she had parvo. Left her at this place for 4 days. I called everyday and they said she was getting better. Then she passed away. Not sure if she was properly taken care of. Most puppies survive parvo if you take them right away. And me calling daily and getting good updates doesn’t make sense to my puppy passing away. Now I feel guilty for leaving her and trusting the updates. If she wasn’t getting better, they should’ve told me.

I had emergency in which a small Chihuahua got snapped at by a larger dog, popping her eyeball out and severing the optic nerve. These veterinarians were very kind and professional, and saved the dog's life. If you live in Imperial county, I would recommend this veterinary service 100%. It might take a little longer to get there, but it's worth it.
