I highly recommend Sea Kayak Baja Mexico. I bought an inflatable kayak and felt I needed training in how to safely navigate on the sea. I have had two kayak lessons and am now more confident to go exploring safely. Jorge is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. Next week we will go on our first overnight kayak adventure with Jorge as our guide and we are looking forward to this experience, knowing we are in good hands.

My husband and I signed up for the Loreto islands Primer trip. He had not much kayak and camp experience and we both ended up loving it! Not only are the locations in the national park that you paddle to beautiful and private but what made the difference were the excellent guides we had. Edgar and Jano were professional, kind, helpful, caring and really helped us conquer our paddling fears. This was an incredible trip that we hope to do again some day. Thank you Sea Kayak Baja Mexico!!!
Fantastic organization! My daughter and I joined 5 others on a 6 day, 5 night "Loreto Island Primer" outing with SKBM and had a wonderful time. Our guides, Edgar and Maria, were superb, super experienced, capable, knowledgeable, full of good humor and positive all the time. They gave us paddling instruction and would happily have taught us to roll except we were too tired on that afternoon! They also cooked fantastic meals with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I think they must have had large sacks of avocados, tomatoes, peppers, and onions stashed away in the kayaks, along with tortillas, meats, sauces and such. Their meals were so good that coming back to restaurant fare in Loreto was a real disappointment. For this trip we provided tent, sleeping bags, and pads, but SKBM did all the rest: kayaks, paddle, PFD, water bladders, cooking and eating gear, etc. The kayaks were high end composite boats from Nigel Denis (Wales, UK) and the paddles were lightweight carbon fiber Werners. They were a joy to paddle. We had great weather, with only one windy / wave-y crossing, but Edgar and Maria prepared us well for every challenge. Snorkeling was excellent, too, though next time I will bring my own mask. I recommend this outfitter highly!
We went on a day tour (panga trip kayaking) to Isla Carmen with Ginni. She provided lots of great info about the natural history of the area and was a great guide overall. Loved snorkeling, kayaking, and hanging out on pristine beaches. I hope to go back and go on a kayak expedition with this company!
We recently returned from an overnight camp trip on Isla Coronado. The boat trip over was amazing. Lots of sea-life, as well as birds of many species. Our private beach was the most beautiful of any beach we have been on. Clear blue water with a white sandy beach and lots of sea life. Our guide and camp hosts, Jorge and Ramon were very knowledgeable and impressed us by catching fresh fish for our dinner that night. However, we were disappointed with the lack of food (we were pretty hungry at the end of our trip) and the lack of camp equipment. Would have been nice to have had beach umbrellas and beach chairs. I only say this because the trip was fairly expensive for what we got. Would I recommend this trip?? Yes! But be clear as to what you are getting for food, as well as equipment. With that being said, we had a lot of laughs and made some great memories.
Had a great time kayaking along the coast in Loreto with boats we renting from this shop. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a boating experience in Loreto
Ginni was awesome! First time on a kayak and loved it. She was so friendly and a pleasure to spend the day with. She taught us some great skills. Looking forward to returning to do a multi-day kayak trip with her.
This was our first time on a sea kayak. We took the panga out to Isla Coronado first for a tour around the island and then for training in the kayak. the water was perfect. Ginni is a pro, very knowledgeable. We learned many skills and felt completely comfortable. We will be coming back for an sea kayak expedition in the future!
