Well worth the visit! Learned more about tequila in 30 minutes than I have in the past 35 years. You've probably been drinking it wrong; put down the shot glass and have a sip. The tour ends with a short sampling session and you taste the various vintages and the flavored liqueurs..(The coffee one is especially delicious).

We stopped at this tequila distillery with a tour group on our way to San Sabastion. It's a very small, family run, tequila distillery. The people were very nice, we got a short tour before tasting the tequila and flavored tequila. The tequila was good, I picked up a bottle of the anejo. It's not the best tequila I've had, but you won't find it in the liquor store anywhere. They also had lots of flavored tequila, which my mom was really into. The most interesting drink for me was the raicilla, sometimes refered to as Mexican moonshine. Surprisingly for me, I preferred the blanco over the reposado raicilla. It was very smokey and earthy, super interesting. I recommend stopping in this place if you are in the area.
Highly recommended, small family-run tequila distillery. Definately worth the visit.
Nice little 10 mins tour about tequila making process and a great blanco/reposado/anejo tasting experience with Noah(?).
