Beautiful sport adventure resort, Palapa Ventana. This is a destination resort that specializes in sport, spear and fly fishing as well as scuba and kite surfing in and around the Sea of Cortez. They also conduct many marine science educational programs and live aboard trips. Their delicious restaurant and adventure activities are also available to the general public. This place has it going on! Such a charming place with a great staff and stellar management. Awesomeness!

Very nice people. Palapas has been around a long time and it shows they know what they are doing. At dinner one night we got to meet the owner TIm. He made time for us, spoke with us and was eager to help us do some sight seeing. The food and menu is absolutely perfect. Prices are fair but food prep. and presentation were A. We had there 5 or more times and definitely recommend them as a place to eat even if you dont stay there. Kiting in front was good and they have lockers available to store gear for anyone not staying there. Thanks Tim, we appreciate all you and your staff's hard work.

Just visited Palapas Ventana and had a great time! The new cook is rocking the restaurant and bar. PV has every piece of equipment you need on site, and the owner Tim is a wealth of knowledge about the area. Excellent place to learn how to kite surf, and then unwind after a day of activity. Also, if you're staying at Pelican Reef or Captain Kirk's, head over here for lunch and dinner.

We had breakfast at the restaurant several times despite not staying here. Good food. Charming venue. Credit cards are accepted for a small fee.

We booked a boat for spear fishing and they were all so helpful. The captain was very knowledgeable of exactly where to take us, and the guide showed us some new techniques and had great stories to tell.

Amazing food, beautiful view, so many things to do, staff is up to American hospitality standards. Scuba Diving, snorkeling, island expeditions, kite boarding, wind surfing, stand up paddleboarding, fly fishing, spear fishing, sport fishing. And their special events are hilarious and fun! Oh and they lead trips to sea Grey whales and whale sharks!

Recently lost their chef to Baja Joe's so the food was good (not great like it used to be). View is spectacular and the snorkelling trip was a lot of fun.
