Golf carts are hit or miss. I rented different ones some are reliable others not so much. If You get a dud exchange it right away. Also if you have a morning flight don’t count on them opening on time you will miss your ferry and possibly your flight! I already missed my ferry let’s see if I make my flight

We went to Isla Mujeres for a day trip and needed a golf cart. Was going to rent from Indio based on online reviews, but they were all out of golf carts and recommended I make a reservation next time. Went to Capitan Azul and the gentlemen was very nice and got me squared away. They don't take credit cards and I didn't have cash, so he let me know where the nearest ATM was, gave me an extra 10 minutes on the rental so I'd have time go get cash and told me to pay him when returning the cart (he did hold on to my drivers license). I rented for 2 hours at 250 pesos per hour (200 for the cart and 50 for gas). In case someone is interested, the posted day rate was 700 pesos (not sure on the gas cost for daily rental). Would rent from there again.
