On January 14 I had a surgery at San Charbel Hospital and Dr. Salum was my surgeon. Dr. Antonio Salum, gynecologist and oncologist, is an excellent doctor! He is very knowledgeable and patient and has been watching my overall health progress very closely. The services at the hospital was also excellent. The nurses were fantastic, very patient and helpful when I needed them. The room and the entire hospital were very clean. Housekeepers everywhere making sure everything looked just perfect. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of my anesthesiologist but it was a man in his 50s who was also fantastic! Overall, I'm very pleased and thankful with the service I received at San Charbel Hospital and their fantastic team. Sorry, I wasnt able to take more pictures at the Hospital.

This is were I experienced the worse medical treatment ever. I has a mass form my chest removed 2 years ago from here and I hope things have changed. My operation postponed for hours with no explanation and when asked the doctor came upset to my room. (I mean we were paying out of pocket and a quick explanation was all that was needed) Nursing staff was not kind and I don't understand what was told to the doctor that he came upset to my room and he continued to be upset up until the moment he operated.I came out the surgery with a swollen lip, probably due to rough tubing. I was blamed and was told that I probably bit my own lip by the doctor. I still remember the experience and I regret going through it and wasting my money. A lot of tears were shed. Don't go here only for the convenience of being close to the border. There are better hospitals throughout matamorros.

En mi experiencia los doctores son muy buenos, muy educados, con mucho conocimiento y muy profesionales. Pero creo que a las recepcionistas en especial la asistente o recepcionista del Doctor Zuñiga Vite le hace falta un entrenamiento de como tratar al cliente o a los familiares de los pacientes y a los pacientes que con mucha necesidad y no por gusto vamos a ver a un Doctor. Y más en en este tiempo tan difícil. Debemos de tener más consideración con las familias que tenemos a un familiar enfermo.
