Loved the tour. The guide was helpful and waited for everyone to be ready in order to move on. Some things to keep in mind: Even if it's 15 outside, once you get past the first very windy part that lasts about 1 minute, you are going to be sweating inside. The stairs, the walking and the facemask are going to make you hot. I would recommend not overdoing the layering since you are going to have to carry everything inside. Wear your best hiking shoes. The terrain is easy to walk in, but if you are wearing flats it might get slippery, because some areas can be wet or just too worn down. Don't be afraid of the stairs. It can feel shocking at first, but the tour is a mixture of stairs going up, flat simple walking surfaces and stairs going down. There's plenty of time to catch your breath, believe me, anyone can do it, the trick is to take as many breaks as you need. Clean bathrooms right after the ride up! Have fun and remember to tip your tour guide, everyone is struggling during this pandemic.

See my pic of the snack shop. Go eat here. Owner speaks English. Chicken tenders & fries were awesome! Oh, the cave...it’s absolutely amazing. The guide was great. He went along in Spanish, but when he had a chance to recognize me and my wife he politely asked us if we spoke Spanish. When we said no, he took the time to catch us up on what he had told the group and addressed us individually from time to time. Good form tour guide! Cable car was clean and well maintained. Better than Fantastic Caverns in Missouri, USA.

Great place to spend a few hours. You can take the tram to the cave entrance or spend an hour or so walking the path up. When we started it was clouded over and couldn't see the entrance from the ground and when we got to the top couldn't see the ground. This is a guided tour and ours spoke clear and loud so it was easy to understand him. The paths are well marked and easy to traverse as long as you don't mind stairs. You will walk about 750 stairs so make sure you are comfortable and don't need to go to the bathroom before going in. Lots of snack and souvenir shops at the bottom but you may want to do that at the end. We would go again.

I love this place! If visiting Monterrey, you must visit this place! Just a tip, take some water with you when doing the tour. I was dying at the amount of stairs i had to walk while following the tour guide. Granted, i am over weight so that contributed to my thirst and tiredness but still, alot of people were thirsty and tired.
