Our son took diving lessons with Daniele e all of the other guys and also Natalia were amazing. They made him feel so safe but also made the whole experience exciting and fun. It's the perfect place for young adventurous people. The beach where you launch is gorgeous (see pictures) and the shop super convenient at the iberostar location so we could watch the crew get ready while also engaging in our own activities: perfect all around.

Dive instructors were kind and safe but we felt rushed a lot of the time. You carry your own gear, set it up, and break it down. Definitely no pampering with this dive resort. There’s no dock so you’ll wear your gear from the beach to the boat. Diving is good but not as good as Cozumel. The only exception was the bull shark dive which, was incredible but overpriced. My husband and I paid 506 for 2 dives (1 reef, 1 bull shark). That price doesn’t include the video footage they capture which is an extra 80.

Highly recommend! I was an absolute beginner and scared to death. My instructor, Francesca was very calm, very patient and a total pro! I felt completely safe in her hands . My husband (already a diver) dove along with us and was also impressed with the level of professionalism and care by the entire staff. If you are considering getting your open water diver , do not hesitate at all to use these folks. To all the staff, Thankyou for making my first experiences diving so memorable and enjoyable. And Francesca, Thank You! I will never forget you

The staff were great, and prices were good too. Free Nitrox was nice. You need to carry your gear across the beach, wade into the surf and haul it up on the boat - which doesn't have a dry bag area. Then cart it back in the reverse process after the dive. Might be normal for a boat/beach dive but I definitely prefer a boat off a pier. So the shop is 4* but diving experience is only 3*. If you stay at the resort, the experience is definitely better than if you're coming from off the resort due to lack of dry bag area and not really any place to grab food if you are diving over lunch unless you buy a day pass (100).

Dove the Cenotes with Marcella - he was an excellent guide full of knowledge and patience. We had 2 junior divers with us and he really went out of his way to help them carry the gear up and down the steep steps.
