I have rented a board here 5 different times for 24 hrs which is about 15/day US and I get board early afternoon and can use next day til about 2pm. Fun and inexpensive. The crew there are great to work with and full of tips even if you're not taking a lesson.

Great selection of quality rental boards - like the best I've ever encountered. Easy walk around under the bridge to Zippers, La Roca, and Old Man's. Staff was kind enough to get me a ride-share back to my hotel at the end of the day. This is the place you want to go!

Had a great experience with Alex, Roy and the team at Costa Azul Surf shop. My wife and I took surf lessons with Roy and it was great. They took us to a great spot very close to the shop. They had cold waters, set up two chairs and a umbrella. We caught 5-10 waves and really enjoyed our afternoon. The shop was great with tons of great shirts and hats, tons of boards as well. One of the best meals we had was at the taco stand next door to the shop. If you are looking to buy a cool shirt, hat, a new surf board or take surf lessons, I highly recommend checking out Costa Azul Surf Shop!

Roy gave my son Noah (age 7) a 2 hr private lesson. This was his 3rd time surfing but these waves were more intense than what he’s done in the past. Roy was awesome with him and went on the board with him first to build up his confidence then he caught some waves on his own board. Great experience! Everyone in the shop was so friendly and helpful as well!

Great boards and even better people! Drove over to the shop to rent a board for the day. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I got a 6'2" poly board that performed very well. Came back after an amazing session and bought a couple t-shirts to make the good memories last.
